Cherished Journey

It has been some time since I have ventured here. ... I am touched by the number of followers, thank you!!!

As Memorial weekend is upon us, I am mindful of how many have left this Earthly journey in my world over the past year.  It is a precious reminder of how we must cherish our journey, and that which is shared with those most loved. .... May we live life fully, love fervently, and strive to make a positive difference! :0 )

A New Year

As we venture into a new year, often there is personal reflection on the previous year, its joys and challenges, and ways we would like to progress into the future.  The unfortunate truism is that most Americans have already broken or given up on their resolutions by the end of January.  While I am one to write resolutions and take them very seriously, I too believe it is so very important for each of us to pause and perhaps take a New Year's account of all that we are so incredibly grateful for.  So today I pause in gratitude for an absolutely incredibe 2013 and in thanks for the many adventures, travels, experiences, and dearly loved friends and family.

Many blessings to each of you into 2014!

The Precious Journey

Greetings all,

I am grateful for all the followers and realize I have not been to this soulful space in some time.  As I have traversed the summer I am so grateful for all the precious times with those loved. ... I realize how sometimes we touch the softest of spots in the soul and as we do so we realize that which is held most dear.

Prayers you all may find your joy

Humanity, Vulnerability and Love

Having one of my favorite summers ever, I pause in gratitude. ... Yet too, I've recently touched places of humanity and vulnerability at times, amidst my strong "invulnerable" self. ... I am mindful we all have those soft spots... and I love this quote:

When we were children, we used to think that when we were grown-up we would no longer be vulnerable. But to grow up is to accept vulnerability... To be alive is to be vulnerable. (And I would add)..perhaps it is in coming to know our vulnerabilities, we touch places we most love and care.
